NAME: Blue Blue is one very beautiful dog – inside and out! You must meet him and take him for a walk to see his personality. He is good natured, with a spring in his step and a twinkle in his eyes. Blue adores one to one contact and likes to be close. He would do very well in a home as a single dog or one that has a calm female dog as Blue likes to be very much the centre of attention. Blue’s new owner must be prepared to brush him regularly and have him groomed fairly often as he has a lovely, thick coat. When Blue’s previous owner was preparing for a big operation, she called the Ark seeking assistance in re-homing both Blue and his female companion Tami. The Ark volunteers were shocked when they arrived at the home and found that Blue was in a very bad state. His fur was totally matted – which can be very painful for dogs! – and he had been tied 24/7 for most of his life. Thankfully Blue and Tami are both doing well and are patiently waiting for their loving forever homes.
