NAME: Ella
Ella is a very pretty dog with distinctive markings. When meeting you for the first time she will try to hide her fear by barking and then will smother you with kisses and demand attention once she trusts you. She walks well on a leash, however still nervous of sudden loud noises and of course strangers. Owner surrender – from what we understand before coming up to The Ark she lived on the top of an unfinished building, with no human contact whatsoever, though she was fed and watered. This helps to understand her initial wariness of us humans. Ella is a good dog who is always the first to greet us when out in the run area with a waggy tail and a happy smile. Ella just needs a home where she can feel safe and secure. She gets on well with dogs of either sex as well as children. Would probably be best if she is rehomed where there is at least one other dog for companionship. It has been a joy to see how she has “bloomed and blossomed” in our care. Ella has touched all of our hearts and here’s hoping she will touch yours.
