NAME: Lacie
RE-HOMED: 6th February 2011
Our sweet Girl Lacie was adopted yesterday, friends of one of our volunteers (Diane). Catherine had one look at Lacie and it was love!!  Fantastic Family – they asked if they could just take her home for  a few days to see how she settles in and called us the following day to say that she is just such a wonderful dog and they are going to adopt her. We think Lacie was just waiting for this home. We are just SO pleased..!! Another happy ending.

NAME: Nelson
RE-HOMED: 3rd March 2011
Our special boy Nelson has found a wonderful new home with an American family living in St. James. Nelson is now very much loved and has adapted into his new surroundings as if he has been there all his life – enjoying the air conditioning, sleeping indoors and truly enjoying his home comforts.  Found as a stray in Oistins, in severe weather conditions – wet, cold and sad – he was shelted with us since Oct and now he sure has landed on his paws. Lucky, Lucky Nelson!!

NAME: Hobbes
RE-HOMED: 17th March 2011
Hobbes was found as a stray in St. George with a broken leg. The lady kindly took him to the RSPCA where his leg was mended and she most generously paid his vet bills and also his boarding fees whilst he was kenneled until space became available at The Ark. He was adopted by a family in St. Peter with their two German Shepherd dogs. Hobbes in appearance - your typical brown Bajan cane dog with a loving and happy character. All the best to you Hobbes.

NAME: Riley
RE-HOMED: 27th March 2011
Riley was most wonderfully rehomed by a real animal loving family in St. George. He is now living with two new doggy friends – Peanut and Trixie. He plays very happily in his new large grassed back garden to run and romp with freedom. His new hobbie is chasing the monkeys. He’s very spoilt and runs the roost inside and out. For a dog who spent his whole life tied to a wooden kennel - sweet Riley sure now has ‘the life of Riley’.

NAME: Fran
RE-HOMED: 16th April 2011
Fran and Rover (another Ark rescue dog – below) were adopted together by a wonderful family, the two dogs are inseparable – the best of pals.  Sharing a kennel they became roommates so of course we were thrilled that they are still living together.  Fran has settled in perfectly and both dogs are much loved and very spoilt!  Poor little Fran was found as a stray at the dump. Poor no more as Fran and Rover and extremely happy. They sure have landed on the paws..!!

NAME: Rover
RE-HOMED: 16th April 2011
Our sweet and lovable Rover has found his forever home, adopted by a wonderful family who also adopted little Fran (above), his Kennel Mate. Both dogs have settled in just great and are much loved (and spoilt)  Rover always was happy to see you and when taken for walks his tail never stopped wagging for  one second, Before coming up to The Ark, Rover spent most of his life tied, Owners could not afford to feed their dogs and also were moving back home.

NAME: Thomas
RE-HOMED: 16th April 2011
We are always happy when of our dogs/pups are adopted, even more so when it is a dog who has been with us for quite a while.  Our wonderful small, cuddly Thomas was waiting ever soo patiently for the right home. Thomas is much loved, life has never been so good and immediately became part of the family  he now sleeps indoors, gets plenty tummy rubs and has lovely female dog companion, Sheena.  Thanks Lynette for giving our boy a loving home!
