NAME: Garri-Girl Garri-Girl is a beauty – an absolute stunner! The photos really do her no justice. She is rather long and sleek with beautiful markings and a gorgeous tail which tends to wag most of the time. She loves attention, is good with other dogs and walks well on a leash, although sudden and loud noises do tend to spook her at times. Garri-Girl was spotted by a wonderful caring lady last year May/June (2011) in a gap by The Garrison, going through garbage. A feeding station was started by an uninhabited house. It took over 6 months before she gained enough confidence to come close and another month to trust those that were feeding her and allow them to touch her. Garri-Girl came up to The Ark on the 3rd January 2012 and has done nearly a complete 360 – she is confident, gravitates towards and wishes human contact. Kudos have to be given to Gerad – our Kennel Manager who has such an understanding of dogs. He took her under his wing and voilà! Garri-Girl shares her kennel with Biscuit and they get along fabulously!
