Obi was an extremely intelligent, loving and affectionate dog. He gravitated towards people, loved his walks and basically was just a happy camper. He did however pick his other doggie companions and prefers the ladies!! Gerad our kennel manager had been doing some training with him – he knew how to walk properly, sit on command and the like.
With a very sad and heavy heart we have had to let our wonderful and sweet boy Obi go to the Rainbow Bridge. Obi was at our current kennels when The Ark first moved there, left behind by his owner with no family to call his own. We became his family and he loved us to no end in return. At first glance Obi may have seemed a bit intimidating however at first walk, all fell in love with him and begged to walk him whenever they could. A very affectionate dog who loved his humans, loved going for walks, marking his territory here, there and everywhere. He wasn’t that keen on other dogs except for Jan who loved him back. Obi fought a hard battle against tick fever and kidney failure. Tonight the skies will light up with a brand new shining star as the heavens welcome home another angel. Run in Peace sweet boy!!
