Meet Vera, one very friendly, smiley, happy dog who just adores humans and loves nothing more than to be petted and cuddled. She walks fairly well on a lead, however is still learning the process as she has only been with us since Sunday 3rd February 2013. Vera’s fate could have been so different if not for one of the local youngsters who volunteers up at The Ark on weekends. He was asked by one of the people in the village to take her and dump her in a gully as they no longer wanted her. Thankfully he knew right from wrong and immediately came up to The Ark and the rest is history. Obviously Vera had no idea of what could have been as she is just one very happy and energetic bundle of joy!
